The implementation of NG9-1-1 from a statewide perspective is currently one of the hottest topics in the NSGIC community. There are many organizational and technical considerations to create a sustainable approach to NG9-1-1 and best practices are emerging. Drawing from the State of Alabama’s journey toward providing NG9-1-1 to the local communities throughout Alabama, the workshop will include a combination of presentations and interactive discussion with key project stakeholders and the NSGIC audience to take an in-depth look at the project.
