Over the last four months, after reviewing and distilling election and GIS statutes from eight states in the country, a working group of the project is ready to share their thoughts and ideas on which components of geo-enabled elections need a place in state statute to advance the use of GIS in elections. To kick off some thoughtful and engaging discussion, the working group will be joined by several state legislators who will share anecdotes and related stories about similar bills in their states.
