Who, What, and Where: A Guide to Federal Geospatial Resources for States

As geospatial information becomes the foundation for more and more initiatives, the federal government has a multitude of agencies that collect, analyze, store, and distribute spatial data. This session focuses on imagery resources. The presentation aims to identify the agency acronyms, define the relationships between federal partners, and establish each agency's unique mission as it applies to spatial data. Participants will come away with a clearer understanding of the federal resources available to them to be more successful at navigating these diverse resources to find the geospatial data they each need in the future.
