In early 2020, the NSGIC Board of Directors confirmed five advocacy priorities for the year: the National Address Database, implementation of the Geospatial Data Act, the Digital Coast Act, preparing for Next Generation 9-1-1, and the National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP). Authoritative data for wayfinding companies was soon added to that list. This session will provide an update on advocacy activities on these topics and more, as well as share an overview of NSGIC’s partnerships, outreach, and participation in other national organizations.
